kirtsos.gr — Surveying Engineer

Overview

We designed and developed kirtsos.gr, a bilingual (Greek/English) professional website for Kirtsos Vasileios, a surveying engineer with over 15 years of experience operating from two offices in Rodopoli, Serres and Nea Moudania, Halkidiki. The 8-page site showcases 9 specialized services — from topographic diagrams and land registry submissions to livestock facility licensing and fire protection reports. Built with HTML5, CSS3, and vanilla JavaScript with no database or framework dependencies — all bilingual content is managed through JSON translation files. Features include a consent-gated Google Maps integration, a filterable photo gallery with lightbox, a CSRF-protected contact form with PHPMailer, structured data for two business locations, and full WCAG 2.2 AA compliance with 100/100 Lighthouse accessibility scores.

Challenges

Presenting a technical surveying firm with 9 specialized services and two office locations as an accessible, professional brand, while supporting full bilingual content without a database or dependencies.

Solutions

Used JSON-based client-side i18n for bilingual content with localStorage language persistence, consent-gated Google Maps for GDPR compliance, structured data with two office addresses, critical CSS inlining for performance, and a zero-dependency architecture achieving 100/100 Lighthouse scores across all categories.
